What is a Residents Academy
The Resident Academy is a free 4 session program designed to teach Everett residents about how their Police Department and local government operates. The academy gives first-hand exposure to many city departments to highlight their various functions in municipal government. Participants will also gain insight into opportunities in how they can be more involved with the Police Department.
Program Description
The Resident Academy is held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
The 4 sessions will be held at the Everett Police Department 45 Elm St, Everett. During these sessions, participants interact first hand with department leadership and officers to learn about the day to day operations, tour various work spaces and take part in training scenarios.
Class size will be limited to 25 participants per session, with 4 sessions lasting one week each session.
