The Animal Control Officer (ACO) is in charge of all facets related to domesticated and wild animals throughout the city. The ACO helps identify lost / stolen or injured animals and enforces city ordinances related to animal issues.

Everett Police Animal Control provides services for the following:

Responding to Wild Animals and Animals in Distress

Assist in the Searching and Finding of Lost Animals

Returning Animals to their Registered Owners

Ensuring Proper Animal Registration

Investigate Animal Nuisance Complaints

Investigate Animal Abuse

MGL 140 Section 137 requires local registration and licensing of Dogs.

Please complete, and mail the Dog License Application Form, and all of the required paperwork, with a check/money order to:

UN-spayed and/or UN-neutered dogs $15

Requirements:

Proof of current rabies vaccination Spayed and/or neutered dogs $6.

Proof of current rabies vaccination and proof of spay/neuter $6.
