What do you do when your Identification has been stolen;

  1. Contact your local police department and file a Police Report for ID Theft
  2. Contact your Credit Card companies; notify them of the Theft and provide them a copy of the Police Report, and documentation of Theft
  3. File a report (online) with the Federal Trade Commission
  4. Place a fraud alert on your credit reports, with the major Credit Bureaus Equifax, Experian, Trans-Union
  5. Freeze your credit, with the major Credit Bureaus Equifax, Experian, Trans-Union
  6. Optional; Sign up for a credit monitoring service, to notify you of any future fraudulent transactions
